Highways Register (list of Council maintained roads)

The Council is required by law to keep records of all the named streets in the borough which are adopted and maintained by us at public expense.

List of Council maintained roads

A map version (this shows adopted highways extents) of the Council maintained roads is kept in a Highways Register which is available to view free of charge at the PASC (Public Advice and Service Centre), located in The Liberty Shopping Centre, Romford, RM1 3RL (subject to a pre-booked appointment and 24 hours’ notice).

Please email hrextents@havering.gov.uk to book an appointment.

Please note we do not give adopted highways information via the telephone.

If you would like to confirm the exact extents of adopted highways for an area or an address, you will need to request an extent of adopted highways search. You can email your request in to hrextents@havering.gov.uk.

The fee for written adopted highways information and per extract of the highways register is £33 (includes an A4 coloured plan and letter) and £16.50 extract only (collection only).

All payments can now be made by BACS transfer, payments details will be forwarded on acknowledgement of orders.

Our turn-around time is 48 hours from receipt of payment.

Any queries relating to the construction side of highways should be directed to highways@havering.gov.uk plus any queries relating Section 278 or Section 38 Agreements.
