Havering Sports Council

Havering Sports Council aims to promote and encourage sporting activity throughout the borough by representing all affiliated members. 

In addition it organises and promotes the annual Havering Sports Awards​, publishes a handbook which lists and promotes affiliated clubs, publishes a newsletter, and, when funds are available, can provide limited financial assistance to individuals.

Havering Sports Council is also called on by Sport England to comment on any Lottery applications made by clubs based in the borough.

Membership is open to all sports organisations/individuals operating or intending to operate in the borough and meetings are held at Havering Town Hall on the fourth Tuesday of every month (with the exception of August and December).
