Requests for information (FOI, EIR and SAR)

The Access to Information Team will make every effort to respond to requests for information within the statutory timescales however you are likely to experience delays as resources are re-directed to front line services because of Coronavirus. What is freedom of information

Freedom of Information gives anyone the right to know about the work, activities, and decisions of all public bodies in the UK.​

What information can I access?

You can access any information that is recorded by us or other public authorities, subject to it being held and an exemption not being applicable.

There are some exemptions to the types of information that can be requested under the act, and should an exemption apply, we will write and tell you which exemption is being applied and why.​
