March 2022

On 1 May 2022 all eligible Havering Council staff, who are not already contributing to a workplace pension, will be automatically re-enrolled into their appropriate pension scheme.

A factsheet can be found in the General Havering LGPS Information section below and information will be updated onto the intranet site in the coming weeks.

Your role determines which scheme you are eligible to join and the benefits of being a member of your workplace pension are detailed on the scheme’s websites:

Letters will be sent to eligible staff to provide a full explanation of the process nearer the time and you may choose to opt out again but not before the automatic enrolment date.

Havering Local Government Pension Scheme

The Local Pensions Partnership Administration (LPPA) is the administrator of the Havering LGPS and are your first point of contact for queries regarding your benefits.

The Local Pensions Partnership Administration website has lots of useful information regarding the scheme, news and FAQs. 

You can also log in to the 'My Pension Online - Member Self Service' site and check your pension information, update your personal details and run your own estimates.
