View the electoral register

The current Register of Electors and subsequent notices of alternation, which includes all amendments, additions and deletions to the current register, are held at the Election Services office in the Town Hall.

The full register must be viewed under the supervision of a member of the Election Services team and only hand written notes can be made.

If you wish to make an appointment to view the full register, please email elections@havering.gov.uk or call 01708 432 444.

Appointments are available on a Tuesday or Thursday only.

Please be aware that we may not be able to offer appointments during the busy period in the build-up to an election.

Historical registers

Once a new register is published, the previous version of the register is no longer available for public inspection for 10 years.

After a 10 year period has elapsed, historical copies of the full electoral register are available for unsupervised inspection at The British Library.

Havering Library Service's Local Studies also hold some historical electoral registers. It is advisable to check if they have the registers you are interested in before making a visit.
