View the electoral register
The full and open registers are available for public inspection.
The open register
The open register is available for public inspection at Romford Central Library and the Election Services office at the town hall. Only hand written notes may be taken when viewing the open register.
The full register
The full current register and subsequent notices of alternation, which includes all amendments, additions and deletions to the current register, are held at the Election Services office.
The full register must be viewed under the supervision of a member of the Election Services team and only had written notes can be made.
If you wish to make an appointment to view the full register, please email email@example.com or call 01708 432 444. Please be aware that we may not be able to offer appointments during the busy period in the build-up to an election.
Once a new register is published, the previous version of the register is no longer available for public inspection for 10 years.
After a 10 year period has elapsed, historical copies of the full electoral register are available for unsupervised inspection at The British Library. Havering Library Service's Local Studies also hold some historical electoral registers; it is advisable to check if they have the registers you are interested in before making a visit.
