The Prince's Trust has been appointed by the Start Up Loans Company as a Delivery Partner to support young people into business through our Enterprise programme.
The Trust will be offering start-up loans to young entrepreneurs going forward, after securing funding from the Start Up Loans Company. The funding comes following the government announcement of a loan fund to support 18 to 30 year-olds to set up in business.
The Start Up Loans Company is an independent body, chaired by Dragons' Den entrepreneur James Caan. The Prince's Trust is a confirmed delivery partner and will administer the start-up loans through its existing Enterprise programme.
The Trust's Enterprise programme, which was established 30 years ago, helps unemployed and disadvantaged young people to explore entrepreneurial ideas and turn their business plans into reality with a low-interest loan and a mentor.
Overall, the government's Start Up Loan scheme is anticipated to lend to thousands more start-ups, supporting new businesses and boosting economic growth at a critical time.
Young people can find out more about the Enterprise programme online, or call 0800 842 842 to find out how The Prince's Trust can help them.
