Covid 19 - Exiting shielding

The shielding programme was be paused on 31 July 2020.

Guidelines on 31 July 2020

Please note these guidelines may have changed from 31 July 2020 onwards. See the GOV.UK website for the latest information.

While shielders remain vulnerable, and should continue to take precautions, you may now choose to leave your home, as long as you are able to maintain strict social distancing.

If you choose to spend time outdoors, you may do so with members of your own household.

If you live alone, you can spend time outdoors with one person from another household. Ideally, this should be the same person each time.
