Remembrance in Havering

Remembrance Sunday
Published: Tuesday, 2 November 2021

Residents across the borough are invited to gather at Remembrance services this month to honour those who have served our country.

A service for Armistice Day will take place on Thursday 11 November 2021, with Remembrance events being held throughout the borough on Sunday 14 November 2021.

Councillor John Mylod, Mayor of Havering, said:

“Following last year’s coronavirus restrictions, it is pleasing to be able to come together and mark Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday again in Havering.

“It gives the borough a chance to remember our servicemen and women, who gave so much in order to keep us safe.

“We should all be proud to stand as a community to mark this significant occasion each November which highlights the sacrifices our Armed Forces have and continue to make.”
