Former Havering Councillor Frederick Thompson has passed away.
Mr Thompson represented Romford Town ward for the Conservative Group between 2002 and 2018.
During this time, he served on committees covering Housing, Culture and Regeneration as well as crime and disorder, governance and environment.
Councillor Ray Morgon, Leader of Havering Council, said:
“This is very sad news. I knew Frederick very well when he was a Councillor and he was an intelligent and pleasant person to work with.
“I would like to send my deepest sympathies and best wishes to Frederick’s family and friends at this difficult time.”
