Mercury Land Holdings is pleased to announce the start of construction on the highly anticipated Priory Road development.
The construction for the 5 family homes will be brought forward by Mercury Land Holdings, the Council wholly owned development company with a construction contract awarded to Lexden Contracts Ltd, who have also worked on the Tithe Barn project for Havering Council.
Construction is set to begin in August 2025 with completion in the spring of 2026.
Christopher Hobbs, Managing Director for Mercury Land Holdings, said:
“We are excited to start work on the Priory Road development and bring further choice to Havering families through the creation of these five family homes.
“These homes are sympathetic to the surrounding area, and the plans also maintain the public access through to the park/woodland.”
Simon Bartholomew, Managing Director, Lexden, said:
“We are pleased to be building the site on behalf of Mercury Land Holdings Limited. Works are due to start shortly and we will be keeping local residents informed as construction progresses.”
Councillor Graham Williamson, Cabinet Lead for Development and Regeneration, said:
“Mercury Land Holdings is leading the way, as our wholly-owned subsidiary property development company to deliver high-quality, sustainable developments and much-needed homes for Havering residents.”
