Residents are invited to gather at Remembrance services across the borough on Sunday 9 November 2025 to honour those who have served our country.

There will be a number of parades and services taking place across Havering to mark the occasion.

Mayor of Havering, Councillor Sue Ospreay, said:

“We welcome everyone to come together and mark Remembrance Sunday once again in Havering.

“It gives the borough a chance to remember our servicemen and servicewomen from Britain and the Commonwealth, who gave so much in order to keep us safe.

“This year has seen the historic 80th anniversary of both VE Day and VJ Day, where our great nation celebrated 80 years of peace since the end of World War II - a peace that so many millions paid the ultimate sacrifice to achieve.

“We are proud to stand as a community to mark Remembrance Sunday each November which highlights the continued bravery and sacrifices of our Armed Forces.

"Thanks to Elm Site Services for supporting this year's Remembrance events in Havering.”
