Our media sponsor this year is The Havering Daily, helping us to highlight local success stories and ensure businesses across the borough receive well‑deserved recognition.
The awards ceremony itself will take place at Lumiere Cinema, the official venue sponsor, providing a landmark setting in the heart of Romford town centre for the celebration event.
The overall prize sponsor for the Havering Small Business of the Year Award is once again JCDecaux UK, who are providing an advertising prize package valued at up to £25,000.
This is the prize the overall winning business, selected by our panel of judges, will receive to help grow their profile across the borough.
Support from sponsors across categories, media, prizes and the venue is essential to recognising the success and contribution of Havering’s small businesses and keeping the awards a key date in the local business calendar.
Nominations have now closed and we are checking eligibility across the relevant council services.
A second round will open for businesses nominated by the public that didn’t enter the first round, so all businesses are judged fairly.
We will be contacting those businesses from 26 May onwards, and they will have five weeks to complete their applications.
