The Leader of Havering Council, Councillor Keith Prince, comments on the new Superloop SL12 service:
"I welcome that Transport for London, and the Greater London Authority, are actually investing in transport infrastructure in the Borough.
"Unfortunately, it is not enough. We know that the Borough has been overlooked and underserved for many years.
"This is a first step but more needs to be done connecting the north and south of the Borough.
"In addition, the new Superloop should be extended to reach the whole of the BID area and connect to the new Beam Park station.
"As part of this, we need additional fast bus connections, and I will be lobbying for a second Superloop to reach those parts missed by the current service."
