Love Romford Market this half term
Romford Market will be celebrating Love Your Local Market fortnight with a day of free family fun in Market Place on Friday 31 May.
Taking place between 11am and 3:30pm, the unique event will celebrate Havering's historic market with a range of exciting activities including a classic car and scooter display, live music, street magic and more.
The market's younger visitors can enjoy free arts and crafts, whilst well-known children's characters will be providing entertainment.
Market traders will also have the opportunity to showcase their produce through live cooking demonstrations throughout the event.
Leader of Havering Council, Councillor Damian White, said:
"Romford Market is at the heart of our community and we cannot wait to put on this event to give residents the chance to celebrate and discover what our fantastic market has to offer.
