Sports and activities for all the family at this year’s Havering Show

Sponsored by Everyone Active, the Sports Zone will include free sports activities for all ages to enjoy.

Over the weekend, show visitors will be able to get involved in free sports and activities including:

• Football coaching
• Basketball sessions
• Egg and Spoon Races
• Relays
• Para Sports

The zone is run by Everyone Active and Havering Council’s sports development team, a team who aim to increase physical activity opportunities and encourages Havering residents to become more physically active.

Councillor Damian White, Leader of Havering Council, said: “This is just one of the many activities on offer at the Havering Show. We’re proud to be offering free fun physical activities that are accessible to people of all ages, regardless of ability, so everybody can enjoy a great day out at one of Havering’s highlights of the summer.”

The Havering Show, sponsored by London City Airport and supported by Time 107.5FM, takes place on 25 and 26 August 2019. Tickets can be bought in advance online and cost £3 per day for adults and are free for children under 10.

Tickets are on sale now at www.havering.gov.uk/haveringshow. For those who buy tickets on the door over the two days in August, it will cost £4 per adult, subject to availability.

Alongside the main stage, there is something for all the family with Fairkytes Live and the Community Performance Stage, as well as licensed bars, street food, children's attractions, a fairground and much more.
