Over 21,000 people packed out the 41st Havering Show over the weekend as the community came together for a weekend of music, entertainment, and some of the best weather the Show has seen.

With temperatures reaching 32°C, this year’s Show saw thousands enjoying top acts including reggae sensation Aswad, iconic British rock band Toploader and club anthem singer Alison Limerick.

Fairkytes Live Stage and the Community Performance Stage returned to the show with local singers, bands, dancers, and theatre groups. Rainham-based RCWA wrestlers also returned to entertain crowds over the weekend with high octane performances.

The Show introduced new features this year with a new mini farm where families could pet farm animals whilst learning more about the countryside, and the Sports Zone, which offered fun activities for the more energetic visitors.

Councillor Damian White, Leader of Havering Council, said:

“It was great to see the community unite and enjoy themselves in celebration of Havering over the bank holiday weekend.

“The Show had something for everyone, from music acts to fun fairs, wrestling displays to farm animals. It also gave visitors a chance to speak to many Council services and local organisations about their work in Havering.

“Thank you to everyone who came along and once again made it a great show. We would also like to thank our sponsors and supporters London City Airport, Marlborough Highways, Everyone Active, Time 107.5FM, Razzamatazz, and Romford Recorder.”
