Coronavirus (Covid-19) - School closures statement
Schools in Havering and across the UK will close as part of the government’s response to curb the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19).
From Friday (20 March 2020), schools in the borough will be closed until further notice but will remain open to children of key workers (we expect a list of key workers to be available at some point from central government) and vulnerable children.
Havering Council has been working with local schools to put in place arrangements to continue home learning to support children’s education during this difficult time.
We continue to ensure safeguarding is in place for vulnerable pupils and families.
