Communal building areas
We operate a zero tolerance policy to clutter without exception in shared communal areas such as landings, stairwells and walkways.
Our residents must make sure they are kept clear of obstruction.
Clutter can cause a fire safety risk and a trip hazard.
Any articles left in communal areas such as bikes, prams, pushchairs, children's toys, footwear, plants, decorations, carpets, rugs and mats will be removed.
You can report obstructions in your communal area by using the online housing enquiry form or by calling 01708 434000.
Communal gardens
As with other shared areas, communal garden areas must also be kept free of all personal items including plant pots, paddling pools, trampolines, tables and chairs and children’s toys.
Rubbish
Please make sure that all refuse is disposed of correctly and placed in the communal bins in a tied black bag or recycling in the orange recycling bags and placed in the designated recycling bin.
Do not leave refuse bags on the ground by the bin area or in hallways or landings where it can attract and/or get torn open by vermin.
This encourages rats and mice to your estate.
Animal fouling
All fouling by pets must be picked up by the pet owner and disposed of in their own black bin bag.
Bulky waste
Please do not dump bulky items.
These can be removed by us for a small fee or you can take items to the local recycling centre.
