Our principal contractor, Higgins, is currently in the processes of completing property surveys and investigations.

Timescales

  • Investigations will be finished at the end of July 2026.
  • The final scope of works will be revied and confirmed by August 2026.
  • August to November 2026 - Preparation of our application to the building safety regulator.
  • Approval from Regulator anticipated by April 2027.
  • Contractor to start on each site between May and June 2027.
  • The building work to continue between June and July 2027.

Consultation events

Havering’s Building safety roadshow resident consultation events have been organised to meet with residents and discuss all things building safety.

The events will bring together Havering’s Compliance and Fire Safety Teams along with the Planned Works Team and our appointed principal contractor, Higgins.

The events will give residents the opportunity to share any feedback, concerns and provide suggestions to us.
