Please do not fill in any forms that take payments, do not use the automated payment phone line and do not call us to ask that we take a payment during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Single resident discounts

If you are the only occupant of your property over 18 then you can get a 25 per cent discount.

You'll need to have a My Havering account and then register your Council Tax account to use this online form. Find out how to manage your Council Tax online.

People not counted for Council Tax

If there are other adults in the property with you then you may still be eligible for a 25 per cent discount. Here are some residents who are disregarded for Council Tax purposes:

It is possible to have more than one of the above in your property and still get a discount. For example a single parent with two adult students could still get the discount.
