Annexe discount

An annexe is part of a building which has been adapted for use as a separate living space. 

Annexes may qualify for a 50 percent discount if:

  • it is being used by the resident of the other part of the property as part of their sole or main residence and is otherwise unoccupied
  • It is occupied by a relative of the person liable to pay Council Tax in the other part of the property
