Telephone payments issues

You may experience issues when you try to make a payment to us on our automated payment phone line. Apologies for the inconvenience while our payment provider resolves the issue.

Vehicle hire terms and conditions

  1. Bookings are accepted on condition that the client accepts the below terms and conditions by returning a signed copy of the confirmation form which we will send you when booking.
  2. Invoices will be dispatched approx. one to two weeks after the trip date. The full balance is payable 30 days from date of invoice. Please do not send any monies until invoice has been received.
  3. Please note that in the event of a cancellation, notice must be given at least 24 hours prior to date of trip. Failure to do so will result in a charge being levied.  
  4. Smoking is not permitted on the bus.
  5. All personal property will be the responsibility of the hirer and/or passengers. PTS will not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage to such property.  It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure they have all their belongings when they leave the vehicle. We will however check the bus and hold any items found for a limited time.
  6. The hirer is responsible for ensuring that all information provided on the booking confirmation form is correct. If on the day any amendments to the details on the booking confirmation are made, these changes may be subject to an extra charge which will be proportionate to the hire rate for the vehicle and driver. 
  7. The number of passengers travelling must not exceed the vehicles licensed carrying capacity.
  8. If there is any damage to the vehicle (internal or external) caused by the hirer or their passengers, the hirer will be liable for the full cost of repairs.
  9. We will allow adequate time for the journey, but we will not be liable for any delays beyond our control such as; accident, breakdown, puncture, traffic jam or severe weather.
  10. In the event of a breakdown during the trip all reasonable efforts will be made to get a replacement vehicle/s to the scene of the incident.  The PTS office will be able to advise an approx. ETA.
  11. Our buses do not have luggage storage lockers but our coaches do. The hirer should inform us beforehand of any luggage. Operations will advise if a van and driver will be needed at an extra cost to the hirer.
  12. We reserve the right to add or amend our terms and conditions at any time.
