Youth Parliament and Havering Youth Council elections
The UK Youth Parliament gives young people aged 11 to 18 the chance to use their voice to bring about social change.
Members of Youth Parliament (MYPs) represent the views of young people locally and nationally, working on issues that matter most to them.
The London Borough of Havering are now looking for our next two Members of Youth Parliament (MYPs).
Any young person aged 11 to 17 that lives, works or volunteers in Havering for 14 or more hours a week.
What an MYP does
MYPs are elected for a two-year term and will be expected to:
- attend a minimum of two Youth Council meetings each month at Havering Town Hall
- take part in local and national MYP duties and events
This is a rewarding opportunity for any young person passionate about making a difference in their community.
