Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is used by authorised account holders to connect to the Havering network when working from home or other location using a non-corporate device, such as your own PC or laptop.
You do not need to use AVD if you are using a corporate device.
You must also use 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) to be able to work remotely on a non-corporate device.
How to enrol
Logging onto AVD
Once you have registered, you can log onto AVD by copying and pasting this url into your browser: https://windows365.microsoft.com/
If you see an error message 'Cloud PC not assigned', please contact the IT Service Desk and ask to be added to the AVD group.
Suppliers and external partners
If you are a new supplier who requires access to our systems, please contact your Havering business contact who will make the necessary arrangements.
Once you have been set up on our systems, your network account will be enabled as and when required.
You can arrange this through your Havering business contact, who will request this through our IT Service Desk.
Once your business contact confirms your access has been enabled, you can continue your setup using the setup guide above.
