Restorative justice

Restorative Justice gives victims the opportunity to have their voice heard, ask questions, and share the impact that the offence has had on them.

It can help provide answers, support recovery, and enable those affected to move forward from their experience.

At Havering Youth Justice Service, we are committed to supporting victims throughout this process.

Our Restorative Justice Worker will take the time to discuss the different restorative options available and help you decide which approach feels right for you.

Participation is entirely voluntary, and you can change your mind at any stage.

Some restorative interventions require very little involvement, while others may involve more active participation. Whatever your circumstances, we want you to know that you are not alone.

We are here to support you and work with you towards repairing harm and promoting healing.
