Is my information protected?
We will deal with your personal information in line with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR).
For security purposes, you will be asked to confirm certain information relating to your application before we can discuss or give out information relating to your child’s application.
As part of the admissions procedure, we may share the information you give on your application form with schools and other departments in the council (such as the Child and Family Service, Children’s Social Care, Democratic Services, the Special Educational Needs Team, Educational Psychologists, the Inclusions Team, the Looked-After Children Team, the Police and Youth Offending Services).
We will also share (where necessary) your information with other schools and departments outside the council (such as the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), the Department for Education (DfE), Ofsted, and other local authorities) and with the school your child goes to, where it will form part of the school’s pupil database.
